You could buy a big nice picture frame and put family protraits of different events and things for her. It could be of your family, her, and/or everyone else in your immediate family. She would love that. It will be a gift filled with memories and love.

I recently talked with an older lady that is a friend of mine and she told me about receiving a scrap book from her family with everyone's pictures in it. She absolutely loved it!!! It'll probably take a little time but I'm sure she's worth every minute of it.

Answer #8
Sounds like a very lucky Grandma to have a grand daughter like you. I was going to suggest you give her the gift of time but you may already be doing that too. Take her to a nice dinner with her best older friends then sit and enjoy the conversation. Older people enjoy conversation and sharing how things were when they were kids.

Answer #9
I think you have already given her the greatest gift of love. She is very lucky to have someone like you in her life. If she is tight for money why not offer to purchase some of her medications or special need items. Ask her what she'd like.A good book is a great idea too, or how about a gift certificate to the beauty parlor. That always works for my mom, she is 78.
