Question: When should you cut the flowers off of a peace lily plant?

Question : When should you cut the flowers off of a peace lily plant?
I have a large peace lily that has 4 blooms and more coming out. Should I cut the flowers when they start to turn brown or wait until they totally die?

When they bloom

Answer #2
You can cut them when the flower turns green. The white powder will "sprinkle" off, but I don't think it will harm anything. It's just a bit of a nuisance. The more you cut the flowers, the more they bloom. In fact, you have more blooms than I do and that's wonderful. Mine gets too much sunlight.

Answer #3
As soon as the flower it self dies away. Let the leaves grow. That's what lets them come back next year.
