I was not sure about the answer but white is for purity, red for love.I would go
with the white.

Red is for the living and white is for those who have gone on, but recently I
have notice the pinkish flower and was told that the pink represented the spirit
of that Mother that lingered in the child wearing the flower. (This made sense
to me). I am blessed to still have my Mom here with me and I will be purchasing
a pink flower for my Mom in remembrance of her Mother. Happy Mother's Day to
all Mothers and a Mother doesn't necessarily have to have gone through
"childbirth" because raising a child is a "labor" of love that lasts a lifetime.
