ask the florist. i think there is a color code to them. red if your mom is living and i think it's white/ yellow ? if she is deceased .

If the mother's mother (that would be your maternal grandmother) is still alive, then she should receive a Red flower corsage. This is usually a rose corsage.If, however, the mother's mother has passed away, she should receive a White corsage. I've seen this in a lot of different types of flowers.I hope that helps!
