Check out the continuing ed courses at your local university or tech school. Sometimes these such non-credit courses are offered. Also, talk to your favorite florist to see if he/she might have some recommendations or suggestions.

Check up at a local Book stall for books on IKEBANA. That is a good start with some standard styles.Make a beginning with collecting Driftwood and dried creepers which can serve as good props for cut creepers for a one-day show or for seasonal display of theme arrangements using dry or durable flowers.While decorating in imitation of Ikebana Book illustrations ask yourself the simple question "Can I use other variations using similar or different kinds of flowers or props"Keep experimenting and soak up all the kudos that come your way. cs r
