Customer Reviews:

Review #1: This is an excellent book
2007-12-29
This FabJob guide provides detailed and valuable advice on how to get hired as a florist or start a successful flower shop. In addition to business and marketing advice, it includes step-by-step instructions for creating different types of flower arrangements and practical information about dozens of the most commonly used flowers and plants including: what colors are available, uses, storage requirements, how long they will remain fresh, retail costs, etc. The book also comes with a CD-ROM with helpful samples and forms that you can use in your own business.

Ordinarily I would not post a review about a book published by my own company at Amazon, however, I feel it's important to provide this information because of the low-rated review above that is apparently not about this book (the review above refers to a jewelry book). Author Alisa Gordaneer has over 20 years of experience in the florist business and has generously shared her advice in this guide to help you achieve success in your own career. She has produced an excellent book that we were honored to publish.

Review #2: Simply written
2007-05-12
The book is written with no attempts to be a fancy guide to the jewelry world. I found it a little too simplistic.
